2. Selection Process for ICDS Supervisor

• Type: Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) 
• Total Marks: 100 Marks (100 questions, 1 mark each) 
• Duration: 1 Hour (60 minutes) 
• Negative Marking: Yes 
• Subjects: General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and Reasoning Ability (Verbal & Non-Verbal) 
• Note: This stage is strictly screening/qualifying in nature. Marks are not added to the final merit list. 

• Type: Descriptive / Conventional Type 
• Total Marks: 400 Marks across 4 papers (100 marks each; 90 minutes per paper) 
• Papers & Syllabus:
  • Paper I: English (Report writing, translation, précis, grammar – Class XII standard) 
  • Paper II: Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali / Santali (Report writing, translation, grammar) 
  • Paper III: General Studies & Current Affairs (Life Science with special emphasis on Nutrition and Health, Women Empowerment issues, Indian History, Geography, and General Science) 
  • Paper IV: Arithmetic (Class X standard) 

• Total Marks: 50 Marks 
• Candidates who clear the Mains written examination are called for the interview round. The final merit list is prepared strictly based on the combined scores of the Mains Exam and the Personality Test.

• Written Test: Moderate difficulty (Class 8 standard) covering basic General Knowledge, Basic Arithmetic, Nutrition & Public Health, and Language skills (Bengali/English).
